The Chänzeliweg leads you along varied paths from Stoos up to the Fronalpstock. You start at the mountain station of the world's steepest funicular railway, pass the car-free village and follow clearly signposted paths. On the way, you cross the pistes at the Welesch restaurant, cross alpine meadows and climb past the Mettlen middle station. Shortly before the summit, you climb the steep Charenstöckli before the view opens up over the mountains of Central Switzerland. This trail combines historical technology, alpine scenery and impressive views in a small space.
