• Is there an underground car park, and how are the parking and charging conditions regulated?

  Yes, we have an underground car park with over 300 covered parking spaces. As many of our guests arrive by public transport, the parking fees are not included in the overnight stay price, but are charged according to the polluter-pays principle.

• What car parking options are available to me?

  Hotel/Hostel:
  There is a car park for hotel and hostel guests in the hotel complex (underground car park entrance height 2.10m). The entrance is on the left in front of the main building. If this is full, you can park on the parking deck or in the underground car park below the parking deck. There are always enough parking spaces there.
  
  Holiday flats:
  The holiday flats have their own underground car park. One parking space is available per flat.

  Day guests
  Outdoor and covered car parking spaces are available for our day guests just after the bridge in Morschach.

• Is it possible to travel by public transport?

  Travelling to the Swiss Holiday Park by public transport is also very easy. Travel to Brunnen, where you can take bus no. 504 to Morschach at Brunnen railway station. Get off at the Swiss Holiday Park stop and you are right in the centre of our resort.
  
  A particularly nice way to get here is to travel by boat, e.g. from Lucerne on Lake Lucerne to Brunnen and change to bus no. 504 to Morschach at the Brunnen stop.

• Are the hostel rooms air-conditioned?

  Our hostel rooms are not equipped with air conditioning.

  Our hotel rooms are not equipped with air conditioning. Only our modern panorama suites in the hotel building have air conditioning units installed.

• Are the holiday flats air-conditioned?

  Our holiday flats are not equipped with air conditioning.

• Are there family rooms with connecting doors?

  Yes, we offer family rooms with connecting doors, which are particularly popular with guests with children. Please indicate this request when booking so that we can allocate you a suitable room.

• Are the rooms or holiday flats equipped with a kitchen?

  Our holiday flats have a fully equipped kitchen where you can prepare your own meals. Hotel and hostel rooms, on the other hand, do not have kitchens.

  A minibar is available in the family rooms in the hotel, in the Panorama rooms and in the Design rooms in the neighbouring building.
  In the double rooms in the main building, a minibar has been deliberately omitted for environmental reasons.

  Do you need a fridge for medication or baby food?
  We will be happy to provide you with a small fridge free of charge - please contact reception.

• Can I choose a specific room or holiday flat when booking?

  When booking, it is not possible to choose a specific room or holiday flat. However, we are happy to take your preferences into account and try to fulfil them according to availability.

• Does the hostel room have its own bathroom?

  Our hostel rooms have their own washbasin. Shower and WC are for shared use in the corridor.

• Are the beds in the hostel room already made up on arrival?

  Beds are not made up as standard. Bed linen is provided in the hostel room and you can make your own. If you like it comfortable, you can book our optional bed service - then everything will be ready for you on arrival.

• Is it possible to cook in the hostel?

  No, it is not possible to cook in the hostel. You are welcome to use our catering service. Children up to the age of 15 benefit from the full board offer.

• Why do I pay for the final cleaning?

  Even if the flat is left clean, additional cleaning work is often necessary to ensure our standard of quality.

  The final cleaning fee ensures that the flat is left in perfect condition when you move out. It includes a thorough cleaning of all rooms, a check for any damage and, if necessary, minor maintenance.

• Why do I have to make a deposit?

  The deposit serves as security for any additional costs that may arise, for example, due to increased cleaning costs after departure.

  If the flat is left in a tidy condition, the deposit will of course be released on the afternoon of your departure day.

  The adventure pool, the sauna area and the Roman-Irish thermal baths are located in the leisure park, 1st floor.
  
  Sauna area
  Located in the leisure park on the pool level. The spacious sauna area offers 400 square metres of different saunas and a varied infusion plan. Entry is free for hotel and hostel guests. There is a small surcharge of CHF 5 for guests in the holiday flats.
  
  Roman-Irish thermal baths
  Located in the leisure park on the baths level. The Roman-Irish thermal baths in the Swiss Holiday Park are the only baths in Switzerland with a brine bath and brine bubble bath. Special price for overnight guests, CHF 20.
  
  Bathrobes & bath towels
  Holiday apartment guests and hostel guests can obtain these for a fee at the pool cash desk. Bathrobes and towels are included for hotel guests.

  As a rule, we change the bed linen in the hotel every 3 days. Should you require a change or need a replacement in the hostel and holiday flats, please inform the hotel reception.

• Luggage service

  We are happy to organise a luggage service for you on request. Please let us know when you arrive.

• Towel change

  As a rule, towels are only changed in our hotel when you place the towel on the floor. This is a sign that you would like a change.

  However, if you would like fresh towels at an earlier time, please let us know at the hotel reception at any time.

• Hygiene articles

  Hygiene articles are available in our shop daily from 08.00 to 20.00.

• Slippers

  Slippers are available free of charge for our hotel guests at reception.
  We deliberately refrain from providing slippers in every hotel room as standard. This measure supports our sustainability goal of conserving resources and reducing waste.

Stay

• Can I extend my stay if the room is available?

  If the room is free, you are welcome to extend your stay. Please enquire at reception in good time so that we can check availability.

• Are there cots or highchairs for small children?

  Yes, we provide baby cots and highchairs for our youngest guests. Please inform us before your arrival so that we can prepare them.

• Is it possible to hire games or baby items?

  Toy library
  You can borrow a selection of games free of charge. A deposit is made for each game. Please contact the sports desk in the leisure park.

  To lighten the load of your luggage, we provide you with various baby items free of charge. You can find a selection here. For further information, please contact our reception.

• Are there cots for small children in the hostel room?

  No, space is limited in our hostel rooms, so we cannot set up separate baby cots.

Conversion

• What are the working hours?

  Noise-intensive work is only carried out from 9:00 to 12:00 and from 13:30 to 17:00 in order to minimise the impact on your stay.

• What disruptions are to be expected during the work?

  Noise emissions may occur during the specified working hours. We will do our best to minimise the disruption as much as possible.

• Will all hotel areas be affected?

  The work will only take place on the fourth floor. All other areas of the hotel will remain fully usable.

• Will my room be affected by the remodelling?

  Guests who have a room in the main hotel building on the construction site may experience occasional noise emissions during working hours. However, you can ask for accommodation categories that are not affected by the construction work when making your reservation. Our team will be happy to help you choose a suitable room.

• What happens if I feel disturbed by the construction work?

  Please contact reception. We will endeavour to find a suitable solution for you.

• Who can give me more information about the remodelling work?

  For further questions or details, please contact our team at reception or contact us in advance by phone or e-mail.

Cookery class

• What clothing is recommended?

  We recommend comfortable clothing (not constricting) in dark colours. Please note that intense spices are used, which can stain light-coloured clothing. You will receive a cooking apron on site for protection.

• Do I need previous cooking experience?

  No. The cookery course is suitable for beginners and cooking enthusiasts alike. The chefs will guide you step by step.

• What is included in the ticket price?

  The cooking class, all ingredients, aperitif, dinner together and a small recipe booklet.

• Can jewellery be worn during the cooking course?

  For reasons of hygiene and safety, we ask you to refrain from wearing visible jewellery on your hands and arms during the cooking course.

• Is active co-operation in the kitchen required?

  Yes, the cookery course is designed as an active experience. You help out in the kitchen, apply techniques directly and participate in the preparation of the dishes.

• Is there an age limit for participation?

  Participation is possible from the age of 18. This is to ensure safety in the kitchen and the smooth running of the course.

• What if I have an allergy or intolerance?

Superdome

• Are changing rooms available?

  Yes, there are changing rooms available.

• Is there an age limit for the Superdome?

  No, we do not have an age limit at the Superdome. The structures may have a minimum age limit.

• Can I buy snacks or drinks on site?

  In the Superdome there is a vending machine with a large selection of drinks. There is also a coffee corner in the lounge area.

• Emergency

  The staff are trained and first aid equipment is available. Help is provided immediately in emergencies. The in-house paramedics are also trained to deal with possible accidents.

• Can I use my own climbing shoes or socks?

  Yes, you may use your own climbing shoes or non-slip socks.

• Are there special offers for school groups or team-building events?

  Unfortunately, the fondue gondolas cannot be equipped with special child seats. However, we are happy to provide cushions on site to enable a higher and more comfortable seating position for small children.

• Do you offer a group package for the fondue gondolas?

  We will be happy to put together an individual supporting programme for you, which includes a cosy dinner in our fondue gondolas. A total of seven gondolas are available for a maximum of 28 people.

• What happens if a fondue gondola is cancelled at short notice?

  In the event of a cancellation made in writing at least 24 hours before the booked appointment, we will issue a voucher for the amount already paid. For later cancellations, a refund is unfortunately no longer possible.

• Are the fondue gondolas wheelchair accessible?

  Unfortunately, it is not possible to board the fondue gondolas in a wheelchair.

• Does the Openair take place in all weathers?

  Yes, the Openair takes place in all weathers. We recommend clothing suitable for the weather and sun protection.

• What age is the Openair suitable for?

  The open air is aimed at families with children, mainly between the ages of 2 and 10 - but older siblings and adults also get their money's worth.

• Is there accommodation available?

  Yes, the Swiss Holiday Park offers accommodation in hotel rooms, holiday flats or hostel rooms. Early booking is recommended.

• Is the Swiss Holiday Park open during the Openair?

  Yes, the Swiss Holiday Park is also open as normal during the Openair. The swimming area, wellness, sports & games and catering are available as usual.

• Can prams be brought along?

  Yes, pushchairs are permitted. Please note, however, that freedom of movement may be restricted depending on the number of visitors.

• Which restaurants offer take-away?

  The Ristorante il Gusto (pizza and pasta) and the Thai Restaurant Siam (Asian) offer take-away food.

• How can I place a take-away order?

  Orders can be placed directly online via the website, on site at the service desk or by telephone with the respective restaurants.

• Where do I collect my order?

  Pick-up takes place directly at the respective restaurant (il Gusto or Siam).

• Are there waiting times for collection?

  Depending on the time of day and the number of visitors, there may be short waiting times. It is recommended to order early - especially in the evening or at weekends.

• Can I specify a specific pick-up time in advance?

  Yes, when ordering online you can often specify a preferred time for collection.

• Are there vegetarian or vegan dishes on the take-away menu?

  Yes, both restaurants offer a selection of vegetarian and partly vegan dishes.

• Payment method

  When ordering online, only immediate payment by card is possible. If you order directly at the restaurant desk, payment can be made in cash, by card, via Twint or directly to your room number.

• Can I also order take-away as a day guest (not a hotel guest)?

  Yes, the take-away service is open to all guests, not just hotel guests.

• What are the rules of tennis?

  Rules:

• Can we choose the horse or pony?

  The safety of the riding students and the welfare of the animals is very important to us, for this reason the horses or ponies cannot be selected.

• Where is the meeting point for riding?

  We meet in front of our Erlebnishof Fronalp.

• Where and how can we pay?

  We only accept cash payments in Swiss francs (CHF). Our overnight guests also have the option of having the costs conveniently charged to their room. Unfortunately, we cannot accept other means of payment (e.g. cards or foreign currencies) at the Erlebnishof.

• Does pony riding take place in all weathers?

  Yes, pony riding takes place in all weathers - with the exception of hail. In this case, riding must be cancelled for safety reasons.

• Does there have to be one person per child to lead the pony during the pony ride?

  Yes, an adult must always be present to lead the pony.

• What equipment do we need?

  If possible, you should bring a bicycle helmet and wear good shoes (no flip-flops or high heels).

• Should we book the pony rides in advance?

  Yes, due to the limited number of horses and ponies, a reservation is required.

• How long does the pony ride last?

  The riding time is about 20 minutes.

• Can we book private lessons for riding?

  No, we only offer pony rides.

• From and up to what age can you ride?

  Riding is possible from the age of 2.

• Can adults also ride?

  No, the pony rides are only for children.

• Why are the children weighed before riding?

  As our riding school also works with mini-shetties, the weight of the children is crucial for the health and well-being of the animals. To ensure that the ponies are not overloaded and remain healthy in the long term, we weigh the children before they start riding. This enables us to select the right pony for each child and guarantee that both child and pony will enjoy the lessons.

• My child weighs more than 30kg. Can he or she still take part in the pony rides?

  Out of consideration for the well-being of our ponies, riding is limited to 30kg. Children who are heavier may lead the pony and thus also enjoy a wonderful pony experience. The costs are the same as for pony riding. Please contact us in advance by telephone.

  Grundregeln

  Ziel des Spiels

  Zwei Spieler versuchen, jeweils ihre Farben (Volle oder Halbe Kugeln) komplett zu versenken und anschließend die schwarze 8 korrekt zu lochen, um zu gewinnen.

  Die Kugeln

  • 1–7: Volle Kugeln (auch "ganze" genannt)
  • 9–15: Halbe Kugeln (Streifen)
  • 8: Die schwarze Acht – wird zum Schluss versenkt
  • Weiße Kugel: Die Spielkugel (darf nie versenkt werden)

  Spielbeginn

  • Es wird angestoßen (Break).
  • Fällt beim Break eine Kugel, spielt der Anstoßende weiter.
  • Nach dem ersten erfolgreichen Stoß wird entschieden, wer welche Kugeln (Volle oder Halbe) hat. Das passiert beim ersten korrekt versenkten Ball nach dem Break.

  Spielregeln im Überblick

  1. Du musst immer zuerst deine eigenen Kugeln (Volle oder Halbe) anspielen.
  2. Nur die weiße Kugel wird direkt gestoßen.
  3. Die Kugeln dürfen ruhig über Bande gehen.
  4. Korrektes Versenken: Wenn du eine Kugel deiner Farbe versenkst, darfst du weiterspielen.
  5. Foul (Beispiele):
     • Du triffst zuerst eine falsche Kugel.
     • Die weiße Kugel fällt in ein Loch.
     • Keine Kugel berührt eine Bande oder fällt (sogenanntes "totes Spiel").
  6. Nach einem Foul: Der Gegner bekommt die Weiße "Ball in Hand", also darf sie irgendwo auf dem Tisch platzieren.
  7. Die 8 darf erst gespielt werden, wenn alle eigenen Kugeln versenkt wurden.
  8. Wer die 8 korrekt versenkt, gewinnt das Spiel.

  Wie man verliert

  • Wenn du die 8 versenkst, bevor du dran bist.
  • Wenn du beim Versuch, die 8 zu versenken, ein Foul begehst.
  • Wenn du die 8 gleichzeitig mit der Weißen versenkst.
  • Wenn du die 8 in das falsche Loch spielst, das du vorher nicht angesagt hast (wenn Ansage gefordert wird).

• Do I have to bring my own equipment (e.g. cross-country skis, snowshoes)?

  It is possible to bring your own equipment. If you don't have any equipment or prefer to travel light, you can find the right equipment at SPORT & RENTAL SHOPS.

• Can overnight guests store their ski equipment safely?

  Yes, we provide a separate room for overnight guests where you can safely store or leave your ski equipment (skis, poles, boots, etc.). Please report to reception to gain access.

• Which winter sports can I practise directly from the resort?

  Directly at the Swiss Holiday Park (in Morschach, approx. 650 metres above sea level), the offer is limited in winter, as the place is not always snow-sure. Sledging is possible, provided there is enough snow.

  For classic winter sports such as skiing, snowboarding or cross-country skiing, we switch to the nearby Stoos ski area. The Stoos area is located on a high plateau and offers snow-sure terrain with pistes for different levels of difficulty

• How is the journey / accessibility in snow / winter?

  The Swiss Holiday Park is also easily accessible in winter. The access roads are cleared regularly. Please check the road conditions in the event of heavy snowfall and allow extra time if necessary.
